WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words.
The three W’s are:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you will read next?
Hi Everyone!! Hope you are all well and doing OK. The glorious weather is still making it so much nicer here still and am thankful to be able to get out into the garden and get so many of those gardening jobs done that have been waiting for ages. Haven’t done a WWW Wednesday for a few weeks so here’s what I’ve been reading and listening to over the last seven days.
What Have I Recently Finished Reading?
Liked this one! The Murder Game by Rachel Abbott.
Read this one for the blog tour and really enjoyed it. It’s the second in her Stephanie King series, and can easily be read as a standalone, although as I enjoyed it a lot I will be reading the 1st story too, then look forward to continuing the series as she writes more!
LOVE an AG! Listened to this via an old audio download I’ve had on my phone for a while. I think it’s one of my favourite Miss Marple’s and this edition was read by Stephanie Cole so was very enjoyable.
GREAT SINISTER FEEL! Listened to this also this week via my BorrowBox Library App. It made for a good audio as the narration was very well done and the tension and sinister edge were very discernible throughout. I sometime struggle a little with this author’s books as I find parts a little unbelievable and unrealistic, but enjoyed this.
What am I currently reading?
I am currently reading two books. One as a buddy read and one for my book club.
LIKE THIS ONE! Am reading this as a buddy read with the lovely Claire of @Ogden_library and adore it!! It is a beautifully written story and is about a little girl called Alice who goes to live with her grandmother, whom she doesn’t know, on a flower farm. Set in Australia we are really enjoying it.
Reading this as a book club pick for this month. I’m only on page 60 so don’t want to pass judgement on it yet, however I’m not sure if it’s my kind of read.
What Will I Be Reading Next?
Next up I have a physical proof and a Netgalley proof to read , as I would like to review them before their release date at the end of April.
I was very lucky to be a VOX champion when it was released, so was delighted when the publishers offer me a copy of Christina’s new book!!! Sounds V interesting!
This is the third in the series and travels backward in time not forward, in the life of our protagonist. Having read the previous 2 books I can’t wait to see how it all started.
Any you like the sound of????? Let me know.
