WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
The three W’s are:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Summer holidays making everyone’s routines different (not that I’m complaining!), means I haven’t done one of these for a few weeks, so here’s one for Wednesday August 21st.
What have I recently finished reading?
Book Description: Tess has always tried to be a good mother. Of course, there are things she wishes she’d done differently, but doesn’t everyone feel that way?
Then Emma, her youngest, is attacked on her way home from a party, plunging them into a living nightmare which only gets worse when the man responsible is set free.
So when Tess sees the attacker in the street near their home, she is forced to take matters into her own hands. But blinded by her need to protect her daughter at any cost, might she end up putting her family in even greater danger?
There’s nothing she wouldn’t do to make it right . . . but what if she makes it all worse?
Finished reading this at the end of my week away last week. I will admit I found the first half a little slow to get going and didn’t warm to the mother in the story very much but the second half was much more interesting and a lot more pacy, so enjoyed the read.
What I’m Reading Now
Andrew, the manager of Shanamore Holiday Cottages, watches his only guest via a hidden camera in her room. One night the unthinkable happens: a shadowy figure emerges onscreen, kills her and destroys the camera. But who is the murderer? How did they know about the camera? And how will Andrew live with himself?
Natalie wishes she’d stayed at home as soon as she arrives in the wintry isolation of Shanamore. There’s something creepy about the manager. She wants to leave, but she can’t – not until she’s found what she’s looking for…
This is an explosive story about a murder caught on camera. You’ve already missed the start. To get the full picture you must rewind the tape and play it through to the end, no matter how shocking…
I have heard so much about this one and it sounded so interesting I knew I had to get it! Managed to get a copy via The Pigeonhole and it is also available on NetGalley. Enjoying it so far.
What am I reading Next?
I think the fair answer to this is I DON’T KNOW!! I have so many wonderful books at the moment I am spoilt for choice and it has thrown me into a panic!! Anything you would recommend??
Help me out!!
Have a good week!
