A quick round up

Just a quick review of the ‘soon to be released’ books I have had the pleasure to read recently. Full reviews to follow.

Lost Lives by Lisa Cutts out Jan 10th or available now for Kindle

lost lives

Wow what an eye opener. Some graphic descriptions of some quiet horrendous situations but still a thoroughly enjoyable book. Great pace and suspense makes you need to know what’s going to happen next.

The Truths and Triumphs of Grace Atherton by Anstey Harris Out Jan 10th

A well written book with a good pace and an interesting insight into the world of professional classical musicians and musical instrument makers.  After reading the many recent 5 star reviews however, I don’t seem to have found it as ‘magical’ as others.

We Must Be Brave by Frances Liardet out Feb 7th

we must be brave

A beautifully told story with gorgeous characters.  Stayed with me for some time after I’d finished it.

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides Out Feb 7th

silent patient

A book getting a lot of attention at the moment. A psychological thriller with a terrific finish!

Have you read any of these? Let me know.
