The Honeymoon by Tina Seskis Book Review

IMG_0847The Honeymoon by Tina Seskis
Newlyweds Jemma and Jamie are on their honeymoon at a high class resort in The Maldives. The husband goes missing and Jemma is an obvious suspect.
The book unfurls with Jemma as the narrator both in the present and 7 years earlier when she first meets Jamie’s brother Dan. This narrative continues leading us up to the present time. I enjoy this style of narrative as it has things slowing clinking into place as events and storylines make more sense as you learn the history behind them.
It had many twists and turns which are hard to go into without giving away far too many spoilers. However I certainly did not see the conclusion to Jamie’s disappearance coming!!
I enjoyed the book, the characters, albeit you only really get to know Jemma in any depth and liked the style of writing.
I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
